The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), headquartered in Basseterre, St. Kitts, is the common monetary authority and bank regulator for the eight member states of the OECS. The ECCB issues banking licences under the Banking Act and supervises all commercial banks in the currency union.
